Meeting Prep Brief — know who you're meeting before you walk in

Meeting Prep Brief watches your calendar and emails you a research brief about the people you're about to meet — who they are, what they've been posting on LinkedIn, any recent X activity, and concrete talking angles — delivered about 30 minutes before the meeting starts.

What it does

  • Scans your Google Calendar every 10 minutes (read-only) for upcoming meetings that have attendees besides you.
  • Researches up to 3 attendees per meeting from public sources: web search, their latest LinkedIn posts, and (optionally) recent X/Twitter activity — gathered through Apify actors, no scraping setup needed on your side.
  • Writes a compact brief: one section per person with role, background, their most interesting recent posts with dates, plus 3–5 talking angles connecting their activity to your meeting.
  • Emails it to you before the meeting — each meeting is briefed exactly once.

How it works

  • Connect your Google Calendar (read-only access).
  • Tell it which calendar to watch and where to send briefs.
  • Done — briefs arrive automatically. You can also trigger a test brief for any list of people ("Name <email>, …") from the run page to see the output immediately.

What do I need to use it?

Just a Google Calendar. Research (Apify) and AI summarization are included — you don't bring any other accounts or API keys.

What are the limits?

  • Up to 3 attendees are researched per meeting (the first three external attendees).
  • Research uses public sources only. People with little public presence get a short "not much found" note rather than invented facts — the brief never fabricates.
  • X/Twitter matching is best-effort by name; when the activity clearly belongs to someone else it is left out. You can switch X lookups off in setup.
  • Timing: the calendar is scanned every 10 minutes with a configurable lead window (default 35 minutes), so briefs typically land 25–35 minutes before the meeting.

Does it post or change anything?

No. Calendar access is read-only, nothing is posted anywhere, and the only output is the email to the address you configure.
